Jim, Thanks for input on CAT. It's officially on my watchlist and I'll do some dd as time permits. Since you mentioned Deere, I thought I'd pass this along. I grew up on a farm although I'm now a city boy, my parents still live very much in a farming community. After listening to the arguments on Case, New Holland, and Deere I thought I'd get the "real world" input. I asked dad about tractors and he immediately said "Well John Deere's the best." I asked him about the others and he said "Yeah, there's others, but Deere is clearly the best." None of the other brands stood out to him. I specifically asked about New Holland and Case but he had nothing special to say about them. There's Deere and the also-rans. I guess this is the thinking that justifies some of Deere's market premium. Shane
