I have only about 15% of my portfolio in a no load fund.
Sounds good Phantom, but even the "no loads" grind you a management fee each year, don't they? What I don't like about Mutual Funds is that they can't take more than a 5% position in any company, and have to buy so many companies that they end up with some dogs that drag their performance down each year. I remember Lynch, in his book, complaining that he could not buy all the Chrysler or Fannie Mae he wanted, because of this.
