jim, IMO any analysts's opinion good or bad, is OK so long as it is suported by a rationale. The only thing that I check is whether the analyst's company makes a market in the stock.... BTW gang, Best Buy said that it's computer sales are robust this holiday season....

Don't forget that when recommended stocks are changed or rotated; commissioned sales reps (brokers) get to churn, sorry ... change clients' accounts. They have a vested interest in making "strong buys" into "outperforms", etc. Sometimes they dig up interesting info but I always think I know more about the industry where I work than any of the ... as CNBC calls them ...penguins.
