re: CISCO and NT

For sure, but CISCO's core competence is neither software nor hardware, but absorbing acquisitions and overcoming cultural conflicts. Just wait until Chambers starts spreading the ice cream and West Virginia drawl around NT. Would almost triple revenue for one sixth of CISCO's stock. How would you like to see CISCO with a P/S of 4? How would you like to be a NT engineer with some decent options? Au lampadaire avec la gestion du NT: time for a change.

Ibexx, Have you ever considered EMC? It seems to qualify under anyone's definition of a gorilla and, frankly, it seems to be exactly your kind of stock, that is, one that performs in the long run in a high growth sector.
