I don't exactly recall the Nixon market, I don't have easily retrievable data for then....well I do but it's a pain in the neck to set up. The 70's in general after Nixon left office was a bear market. Let's just leave it at that. I can pull up data but I doubt it had to do with Nixon specifically. I am pretty certain the market won't like Al Gore, only because he's a political/economic question mark.
