I was not aware that Windows gave the opportunity to name a directory/folder any thing you want. I'm very glad to here this:-)

In the installation process you will always be shown a default directory. Click on the Browse option and change it to anything you want.

There may be some issues with program suites. I used to let Microsoft have its way with default directories when installing the Office group...Excel AND Word. I never found an advantage. I try to keep my applications separate...too much linking seems to make a house of cards.

Many applications do an ok job with their selection of a short folder name...Microsoft tries to lead you to a Programs Files folder, In this case I just use the default directory but do not put it under the Program Files folder.
