My concerns from this positive article: 1Manager Van dell states in report they can make scheduling changes in case 2or3 plants go down to y2k,therefore this is official confirmation that a manager of a nuclear power plant believes y2k can shut down nuclear power plants. 2 The first NRC inspection of a plant occured Sept. 98 and they were still checking assessment! 3 Radiation could be accidently released and the NRC wanted to know the air flow of such radiation. 4: 70% of the software remains to be checked. 5: What about the plants that are not pre chip usage? 6:At least 12 critical systems are not compliant by the plant managers own words yet the NRC compliments them for moving along according to schedule??? startribune.com
