Nah, FMK is basically correct. Third world countries need to adopt wireless technology to avoid the tremendous expense of installing and maintaining land lines. This is exactly what's happening in China, Brazil, Russia, you name it. Cellular is where it's at. Satphone is still young and very expensive. Currently, distributors of cellular phones are having problems due to the global economic condition. Some manufacturers are doing well, others are not. Overall, the wireless market won't reach full potential until the economic situation improves. Meanwhile, the pent up demand is steadily increasing. In the future, a large segment of the world population will be wireless, many having never used or even seen a wired phone.
