What Clinton did cannot, by any stretch of honest logic, lead to dictatorship.

No, of course not. But allowing him to break the law with impunity can.

But really, I guess it's not that big a deal. We've been on the road to the police state for a long time now, this just accelerates us a bit. I'm tired of trying to administer cranial enemas to you people. So, maybe we should make it a law: "Crimes are only crimes when committed by the ruled. The rulers are excepted from all responsibility to follow laws they find inconvenient."
