Ah yes. But you were talking about opinion polls being used to make the decision and the 64 Act was not widely popular in many parts of the country. I suggest you are correct in one respect. We should wait until 2000 and see if the Repubs are re-elected. That would vindicate the position. However, even if they are not re-elected justice must be done and the minority who seem to respect the rule of law if the opinion polls are to be believed must be protected from the mob who have no respect for one of this country's most enduring founding principles.
