In the short term, if revenues were only expected to grow 20%, then AMZN would probably go up. I agree that it has to crash in the long run unless diversifying into many products and gaining a dominant market position eventually allows it to turn a profit.

My point is that I wouldn't short it right after the 3 - 1 split just because there may be more shares around. I would wait for it to crack first, and certainly after earnings.
