KRAFT and @Home Network Feature Broadband Advertising for the Holiday Season

biz.yahoo.com

>>@Home Network™ (Nasdaq: ATHM - news), the leading provider of high-speed cable Internet services, and Kraft Foods, the nation's largest packaged food company, today announced a program that brings Kraft holiday food ideas to life through broadband advertising on the Internet. The content of the broadband advertising program parallels that of the current ''Holiday Flavors of Kraft'' television and print campaigns. Because @Home's high-speed cable network enables advertisers to integrate elements of interactivity, video and sound, Kraft can now incorporate the emotive qualities usually found only in television in their online advertising efforts. <<

The number of new customers added each quarter is steadily increasing. The only limitation to exponential growth is upgraded networks and installers. They have control over installers and it seems to me that the upgrades have steadily progressed. I must say that I am disappointed by the overall progress of the availability of the service in Pittsburgh. While it's here, its availability is limited and earlier this year I was informed they were targeting Sept for my area - but that passed and now I don't know when it will be available. My sister was informed service would be available in Nov of this year but was recently informed - next summer. This can only be explained by TCI dragging their feet. This is so foolish. They have a significant opportunity to take a substantial share of the market before ADSL and hope they aren't squandering that opportunity.
