Ed,

I assure you the jerseys are quite purple (I am wearing one :-)

I admit the paint on the helmets certainly looks a different purple under certain lighting but with my TV it still looks purple. My advice to you it to buy a nice Fibre Channel TV... When you need to watch 16 channels at once and at a refresh rate of 30/sec and a 1024x2048 pixels * 64K color scheme - the new Ancor flat panel 800' TV is the only way to go...
