Yes, today you can assign a P/E ratio to their operations but that wasn't always the case. When a new industry is developing, you put your money with those who are in the lead, even before they have earnings because they are the one's who will more than likely set the standards, and consequently they will capture a large percentage of the total market. Microsoft is a great example of that.

-Nova BUS Incorporated is pleased to announce that the Board of Commissioners of New Jersey Transit has approved the award of a contract to Nova BUS for the manufacture and delivery of a total of 620 RTS transit buses. The value of the contract, including buses and spare parts, is approximately $160 M.

Each bus will be equipped with state of the art electronically controlled Cummins diesel engine, ZF transmission, multiplexing electrical system and ADA compliant features including wheelchair lift and electronic destination signs. Delivery of the buses is scheduled to begin next spring from the Nova BUS plant in Roswell, New Mexico.
