Here's a seasonal trade for you; According to the SuperTrader's Almanac, if you had been long the SPxx from 7 trading days before to 7 after Christmas you would have had 100% winners over the last seven years. As a sidenote, a 1998 Close on the Dow higher than the 1997 Close would mark the 9th consecutive year of Upmoves. To illustrate how dramatic that is, the longest prior string in the last 100 years was 6 from 1897 to 1902 when Cy Young was pitching for the Red Sox.
