You know and I know that you won't pass-up the opportunity to read a response so thanks for letting me have the last word!

>>Yeah right.... try telling that to a Christian zealot.... they will insist that the word Jesus be included, otherwise they will refuse, or more likely, they will defy any guidelines... I KNOW, I HAVE WITNESSED IT.<<

Since you make that statement without reference its nothing more than hyperbole, and easily dismissed. Quite frankly I don't care about prayer in school either way. I do believe that youngster should have spiritual guidance regardless of it being Buddhism, Christian, Moslem and so forth.

>>Once anything is supported by the government, when will it stop ??, next, the government will be required to print the prayers, (of 1000 different denominations), and a tax will be imposed so they can pay for it....<<

Again a Democratic approach, hurry Civics classes begin in January, space limited.

>>What that means is that if you accept the idea of government telling a woman what to do in her personal life, then there is no limitation as to what the government could do, including telling you how
much you should make.<<

All I'm for is protecting the rights of the fetus.

>>not to mention spelling...<<

If your going to criticize grammatical errors or typos, you should learn yourself, ADVOCAITE has no i in it. I believe that there is a spelling class right after Civics. I don't care too much as there is spell check available to people like me who misspell when I'm in a rush. But, alas none is available on my browser.

>>There = it means location... Where is your argument ? there, in the trash can.
Theirs = possession... My actions, your actions... their actions <<

I JUST know you never made this mistake. yeah right! Oops I forgot to capitalize yeah.

>>I usually do not point out these things, as they are not my problem.... however, since you are suggesting that I take some evening classes in ..."Civics"... he, he, he... I guess, yours is the "x" generation spelling...<<

I didn't look but I believe that I spelled "Civics" correctly, but who else cares. And no, I'm a BOOMER. But if spelling is all you can substantiate in your responses then that puts your response in the proper perspective.

>>THE CURRENT ALTERNATIVE TO CLINTON IS TEN TIMES WORSE...<< That's just an opinion, no bases in fact. Try it you'll like it...

>>This exchange is terminated, I asked you to "show and tell, when you suggested that you were a reasonable person....<<

With reasonable people....

>>Like going back to thirteen century inquisitions...<<

Just fear mongering, there (correct usage, thank-you ) was prayer in schools in the '60's...The 1960's!

Well, again thanks for letting me get that last word in.

Jim

For those that want to argue that they're afraid of too much government in there lives, should be happy to know that the government is busy for the next few months on something other than new legislation.

Doroteo, you shouldn't let these folks get too far under your skin. They believe what they believe, which is fine. What's scary is that so many people believe this kind of absurd silliness.
