Likewise, I have lifted some approaches of GZ and others. However, the core of the systems that I use at present are still variations on the MACD theme that was developed by Gerald Appel. I have just tuned it for my own trading style and risk tolerance. I want consecutive singles and not home runs.

I guess the mechanics of most systems are fairly similar. It is the specific implementation that ties the system to the persons trading style. Thanks for the response. I personally can't day trade. I may have an occasional trade that only lasts one or several days but that is purely coincidence.

Perhaps Jenna mentioned it also, but it's a standard program trading ploy. A sell signal hits and you short the stocks with the weakest RSI and vice versa.
