LOL...Howard. I'll write you. You seem like a nice enough guy.

Yes, it is a job..but one where I can stop and go as I please. Watching computer screens all day for 6+ hours can be terrible for your eyesight... Staying on top of a number of stocks and watching the buys and sells on certain stocks can get very boring. Reading charts, studying up on stocks and their trading patterns and learning all about the market makers aint fun. That plus watching the wires for news is an all-encompassing task. What I do is keep a couple watchlists of stocks that I trade to learn their trading patterns so I can immediately trade them when I know the time is right.

I understand they have places you can go in the major cities where you pay a membership fee to use their terminals and freely trade, but I also understand there is a minimum amount of trading funds you must keep in the account. $50,000 is a number I have heard.

I'm no expert trading...but I am making a ton of money (especially this year on techs and Internets) and it is definitely at least 10x more just this year so far than the advertising job I could have today working for my father in Newport Beach. I just have to be sure to put a certain percentage of my winning away for Uncle Sam and keep good records of all my trades in the process.

As for penny stocks...there is alot of luck involved besides knowing the stock, its trading patterns and how the market makers work the stock.

Have a great day...

BTW..I am alittle bullish on DGIV presently because of what I know but the spread is gigantic for those poor souls wanting to trade at the moment.

Janebird

Jane is very right (pocket rocket must be working). Here in Atlanta you can go to a short school, several days, then hit the front lines. They have places you go in to with a setup much like your broker has with all the bells and whistles. From there you play the game. Me i'm not big on ties....
