Jan 1 was approaching too quickly and we deferred to a Feb 1 rollout. We'll highlight some of the thread-based contests in the meantime (like Auric Goldfinger's Tulipomania), and make sure that when we roll the SI-sponsored contest, it's well-managed. The long-term direction we're going is to try and provide automation for those who want to create contests. As such, it will work more like a friendly poker-game than a full-blown portfolio simulation. Brad
