here's wishing everyone in SI land a very merry Christmas filled with joy and happiness.

And cheers to a very profitable new year. We are truly a class act here. I'm glad to be a part of it. And nothing but best wishes to everyone and their families.

God bless us, everyone.

Brad,

I would like to know how many people have a thread bookmarked - in particular - the Short Stories 50 Words thread. I would love to know how many people are actually reading the stories.

Can't you put a counter next to threads as to how many have them bookmarked.

Tom

Hello Brad,
Your little cyber-community is become quite litigious. There seems to be an increase in the number of people that want to sue for libel and slander (most don't know the difference). It is making SI a little bit scary.

Though I am not a lawyer, my understanding is that something would not qualify as libel (or slander) if it is to an anonymous alias. Jorj X. McKie is a fictional character and anybody could say anything they wanted about JXM and I would not have recourse as there would be no real damage to my "real" good name (which is hopefully lost in the annals of SI history).

So my suggestion to make SI a brighter less litigious place is to forbid the use of actual identities, rather than just suggesting that an alias be used. Then, maybe threads like this will die off:

Brad,
I've been trying to enter shares in a portfolio I created but keep getting the same reply:

I've tried over and over even creating a new portfolio but to no avail. I have existing portfolio's that I was able to enter shares but it seems I can no longer do this. The portfolio's are not large (under 20 items.
I love the portfolio feature and hope I can get it to work. Any ideas?
I'm on a Mac by the by. I have tried entering one at a time and entering all at once but neither work.

Thanks,

Jan I am

Brad,
Is there any way to reverse the order(direction)of the POST in a clubhouse?
I know there is on the main thread in profile, but can't find it for the clubhouse?
Thanks in advance
Bob

Brad, Sometimes I'd like to read just the most recent posts, or bookmarked threads with recent posts. Could you set an option, preferably clickable, to sort threads by most recent time posted (while still floating unreads to the top)? I'm thinking of SI allowing, on the Bookmarks page, a click of the time (to the right of the date) to do this (like FreeEdgar allows sorting by clicking a column heading). Sort of like a macro version of the "List Replies in Reverse Order" but "List Bookmarked Threads in Reverse Order". Reason: I don't read all threads every day and do not want to clear 'New Message' counts, but I do want to see the recent posts especially as I refresh the screen. This could be set per session, or permanently until changed back - either way is OK with me.

Thanks.

I see the weird indexing problem has returned... the one where some posts are eliminated and replaced with negative numbers. For example: #reply-3219744.

Anyone else find similar examples lately?
