Scott -- at one time the bonds and stocks moved in synch -- low interest rates were good for corporate profits which were good for stocks. With the flight to quality that we saw earlier this year, this relationship ceased -- at least for now. But realistically, an environment of high interest rates cannot be good for stocks on a longer term basis. But then, it seems unlikely that we are going to see a major spike in interest rates.

My bond trade is doing great -- may be this is the start of a big move to the 123 level or so. I consider a move of 5-7 points, after getting a signal, to be a large move in the bonds. I went short at about the 130 level.

I went short the yen this am
