Borzou, it's a fairly well known fact that Carville and Flynn are good buddies. Carville actually played a large role in his movie. I never actually watched the horrid thing myself.
It's not much of a stretch to align Carville with the White House spin machine.

Of course you wouldn't read about any of these alignments in the liberal media. :-)

Best, Michael

Borzou,
Dick Morris was on TV last night stating that, while he couldn't PROVE Flynt was working directly for Carville and the White House, there was enough evidence to make him believe it was true. Flynt is using Terry Lenzner as an investigator, the same Terry Lenzner that has been used by the White House by Carville, Blumenthal, and the other hatchet men.

You are right. The GOP is reaping what it sowed. And even as their shameless "moral" leaders fall by the wayside, GOP supporters are going around making wild allegations about Carville and Flynt and the White House. "Clutching at straws" is the expression that comes to mind...

Here is more info :

It was the higher-ups that Larry Flynt, publisher of the sex magazine ''Hustler,'' was chasing with his $1 million bounty.

The monetary offer made in early October was for stories from people who proved they committed adultery with members of Congress or other
high-ranking government officials.

''We've offered up to a million dollars. And I tell you, Livingston is only the first,'' Flynt said on ABC's ''Good Morning America'' Tuesday.

''There are more shoes to fall ... It could be as many as a dozen. Investigations are ongoing now,'' Flynt said, adding that the magazine intended to publish names.

Some people said the exposures have resulted from a desire to unveil hypocrisy in the ranks of lawmakers sitting in judgement of the president. ''We
just wanted to expose the hypocrisy in Washington. They should not have any skeletons in their closet,'' Flynt said.

Exposing politicians' indiscretions would give pause to people in public office, analysts said.

''For people who are in office, I suspect there are a number of sleepless nights,'' said Norman Ornstein, resident scholar at the American Enterprise
Institute.

So, as we approach December 25th, instead of "Silent Night", a lot of Republicans are singing "Sleepless Night", eh?

Merry Christmas, Republicans! ;-)
