Roger,

I guess I sound like a die hard republican with my post, but I'm not at all! In fact both parties are about as low as they can get in my opinion!

Hi,Roger: RE : "Clinton is a jerk...". He may be a jerk morally in terms of womanizing or marriage fidelty. But he has shown that he has a lot of persuasion power and a lot of negoitation or political skill. Just look at a few examples, people blamed Republican for budget talk's collapse (Republican really hated this), he got elected twice with all those womanizing stories floating around, Ireland peace accord, Israil-Palistan temporarily peace settlement, first budget surplus, workfare instead of wellfare, his approval rating is 73%, etc.

Those rightwingers hate his gut. They pursued his destruction beginning day 1. Remember, the late Senate Goldwater pleaded with those Republicans early on: "... Let him (Clinton) be the president." They tried to do what they could not do in the polling places - impeach him. They started the bogus Paul Jone's law suit hopefully to entrap him. Starr spent 40 millions and found nothing on whitewater, travel gate, filegate, Vincent Foster's death, etc. Starr had to resort to the technicality of lying or purjury about sex to "catch" him. Starr himself used the same evasive languages such as "I do not recall", etc. in his congressional testimony.
