It is nice to see something less than panic coming out concerning Y2K issues. I predict that there will be a huge number of computers that don't get this resolved by this time next year and all they will do is change their clock to 1972 or whatever year matches 2000.

But it should make for some good opportunities again in the Y2K stocks.

That's my neck of the woods. City officials said all signals worked from Poolesville to Silver Spring, or something like that. There are no traffic lights in Poolesville. Of course they pre-tested before they invited the media to play. They didn't want to repeat the experience of that one manufacturer referenced here in the last week (can't remember the name) that invited the media to observe their remediated systems in action, only to have the test fail miserably, costing the company sales and market share. But they were right in that the event was newsworthy. ggg.
