Zakrosian: I'd have to read it again, but you DEFINITELY would need a CD-R or -RW to save on CDs. VideOh comes with the Easy CD Creator Deluxe software for saving data to CDs. Otherwise, you can save them on your hard drive. But if one is planning to convert old home videos to MPEGs in any quantity, and for distribution to friends and family, storing them on CDs would be a logical step. Remember, however, that for distributing such material, CD-Rs appear best suited, as they can be read by ordinary CD-ROM drives while Multi-read CD-ROM drives are required to read CD-RW disks. Another case where technology solves one problem while creating others.
