Look into JB Oxferd or Brown & Company. I am using Fidelty. They charge $14.95 but the Oxferd and Brown only charge $8 or $7 per trade.

Bald Eagle,

I have had schwab for quite a while. They are excellent, but they were charging me 4% of the principal amount for any penny stocks which was very reasonable by their standard, but a bit too much for me. So I opened an account with NDB (Natinal Discount Brokers). They only charge 19.75 for any number of shares if you do it online. Check it out. They seem to be ok. Peace and good luck.
