Paul, thanks for the response. It's great to have an industry insider weight in.

Question: Would you predict more consolidation in the real estate brokerage industry, with greater market share for the big franchises, or is the trend the other way?

There is no incentive to change to the CD relationships just to benefit the corp. entity. They take a huge cut of every transaction as it is so we resent them pushing these other products down our throats for nothing but corporate gain.

On the other hand, if the service CD provided was significantly better every agent would use them in order to give the client the best service possible.


Resentment aside, since you're long CD, hence have a vested interest in seeing it do well, do you see any value in voicing this complaint directly to CD?...they may be more receptive to the idea of enhancing service than they were prior to the fiasco.
