LOL

I did the same last week. However, we will surely NOT be rewarded by this Christmas. Every single day that ONTAK and Panretin Gel approval is delayed, LGND sails away from its goal of profitability by 1999.

Good news on the clinicals re diabetes or breast cancer would probably shatter the 12 resistance, not the ONTAK or Panretin approval. Until then we'll shuttle between 9 and 12. Hopefully the upcoming H&Q presentation will have some announcements.

I have fully converted into LGNDW by now and I hope this dog moves a little until June 2000. But even if LGND doubles, triples or even quadruples from current prices, the opportunity loss from not having invested in the net stocks will still be huge. If LGND lives up to its promises (maybe in 10 or 15 years), we might have caught up, but whether the risk/reward ratio was worth it, will be another question.

Santa Claus is nowhere in sight, and LGND has been behaving like SCROOGE to us until now. But even SCROOGE changed in the end.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THREADSTERS
