I have pretty much all my eggs in microsoft basket.
How worried should I be about the recent pile of lawsuits?
a) Mouse maker lawsuit that they intially won against msft
(Is it gold touch?
b) Blue mountain on IE
c) The new Y2K lawsuit
d) Bristol
e) Caldera
f) Sun-Java
g) MOther of all lawsuits - DOJ.
Actually I am less worried about them individually than the
whole. I don't like so many of them at the same time.Any opinions?

Wishing everyone has a very Happy Holiday season!!
Talk to you after Christmas.

BTW-- guessing 150 by December 31 (I could not help it; I had to squeeze in another "prediction", I mean a wish).

Frank, Microsoft historically has downplayed enthusiasm for it's stock continuously. Both Maffei and the guy before him always were warning about revenue slowdowns and slower growth in earnings. That is why I was dumbstruck by their most recent earnings announcement which included unprecedented notes of optimism and suggestions of higher than expected earnings to come.

They never do that!!!

This is why I am not surprised to see the stock run like it has.
