Is that what Prudential calls a single best idea losing $.75.
I would hate to see what the other ideas are.

I don't know if it was Janney or not yesterday on cnbc but the analyst said they don't give targets BUT they expect wcom to double over the next 12 months. Have a nice holiday John

Short Interest Up 2%

According to Monday's IBD, short interest in WCOM increased 2% as of 12-15-98, increasing from 34.6 million to 35.4 million.

Also in IBD, in a story entitled " Year of a Telecom Merger..", Worldcom is mentioned as a potential buyer of several companies, including US West (interested in its fiber optic network), Winstar (in order to expand in local markets), and Teligent (in order to acquire wireless links in local markets).

Personally, I hope they go after WCII since I have a nice position in that fixed wireless company.
