The news release gave an x dividend date of, I think, Oct 21. Funny, KZAP uses NDB and they told him he is getting the shares...he asked multiple times. Point in fact, some have already gotten their shares.

Now, when you say "in writing" it gives pause to ask what that means. A public news release from a corporation is certainly enforceable...assuming you can catch them and collect<g>

Long after the emission, the smell on this one continues to linger.

Dick--I stand corrected. From the 9/30/98 Yahoo press release:

The company has requested an ex dividend date from NASD and will announce it as soon as it is confirmed. The payment date for the issuance of the dividend shares is currently scheduled to be on or near October 20, 1998. That date will be later confirmed as well.

No press release after the aforementioned one actually confirmed that date!

Anyone have more info on this.
