Thanks for clearing that up. I did notice that on my NDB statement, there was an entry on 10/21/98 of a CSMA dividend at a rate of .166666 (which equates to a 1 for 6 ratio)with a distribution date of 10/26/98. When I called to inquire, NDB were unable to explain the entry as they had received neither dividend nor shares. I'm going to follow up tomorrow and try to get an explanation of that entry. If I learn anything useful, I'll post it here.

Hi, Greg-- I emailed Mike Millis on 10/21, and he replied to me that the X-div date was on that day. I refer you to this post: Message 6126275 I hold CSMA in two accounts, neither broker shows anything added to my account. I guess I was overlooked! <snif> That's OK...looks like CSMA wants to go back to my ASP...at this point, I wouldn't mind breaking even. Cheers! Rick

Interestingly, I found in a communication with Millis dated December 02, 1998, the following conflicting statements: 1) Has the annual meeting been scheduled?>NO, NOT FOR ANY OF THE THREE COMPANIES IN WHICH YOU NOW OWN STOCK. >5) From whom or when will financial information be available on CSMS, >Adhat, or Etec?FROM THE RESPECTIVE COMPANIES, AGAIN WHEN THEY SEE FIT TO PROVIDE IT. .............THERE IS NOTHING TO DO OR DECIDED UPON FOR ANY OF YOU AT THIS POINT. Well, I wonder, do I own the spin-off shares, or not? We have a company press release saying on or near October 20, 1998. That date will be later confirmed as well. We have a NDB broker telling Mr. Jaffe that a distribution date has not been declared. Millis told Mr. Williams the distribution date was October 21st. And Millis tells me on 12/02 "shares I have, or soon will have". BTW, nothing is showing up in my Fidelity account. It seems like the company would have made an official announcement if the date was confirmed. Sounds pretty important to me for at least this one thing to have been done right! With the track record of this company, it may not be unreasonable to question this apparent oversight. Since I still own all my CSMA shares, I'm not all that concerned, except for the possible, apparent deception. Does anyone else have a response from Millis which conflicts with the 10/21 date?
