Gross margins are analyzed relative to the industry group and category. If the industry as a whole has shrinking gross margins then you cannot blame any one company.

As an aside, gross margins do shrink over a period of time in the high tech industry. A Higher volume in business compensates for that so the earnings could still increase.

You are like an attorney who asks you a loaded question, then insists on a yes or no answer....What we see here is Suzanne Galante focusing on one stock in a category that is characterized by slim margins...Not necessarily "emaciated"...You must be short on this stock...
