<<<Hey Sig, are you out of GEEK >>>
I kept the Geek. If selling it the question would be what to do with the money. If I was <60% in Dell, I would buy the the following
for each 100 shares of Geek sold at between $40 to $60
Jan 75 Dell call at 3 1/2
Feb 75 Dell call at 6 3/4
May 80 Dell call at 9 1/2
Aug 80 Dell call at 11 7/8
Costs about $3200 total, so you have some money left over
Plus you have some Geek left.
What will Geek do?. Pure guesswork. IMO it won't go <30 while the mania lasts, but getting to 80 may be difficult.
Writing has been called a 'hot' form of communication, since there is so little one can say. So perhaps I could have said put the money in your favorite LT stock, which may have been Csco or Msft or Aol, or
other.
I am not 'recommending' anything here, just pointing out that
IMO the same or better profit might be achieved with Dell calls
with less risk than holding Geek.
