The increases have been happening for a couple weeks now at different firms. I have not seen any difference in how the market moved, in fact, it seems the market has moved even more since they started with the maintenance increases. Greg

jbn3 I got the same message in all of my Scott trade accounts. At first I was a bit concerned,then checked my balances and it appears i'm way under the 50% allocation... But this is because of my large appreciation in AOL.... so for now i'm ok......But does this make it a bit more difficult to accumulate a position in a margin account? Oh well I'm gonna call scott trade first thing monday morning. On the other hand as long as aol does survive and prosper we will all be ok go AOL go go DELL go spreck
