Merry Christmas too all (and Happy Holidays to those who don't celebrate Christmas).

Michael

ps - as soon as I get back from my Xmas trip visiting my family, I'm going to spend a bunch of time doing an analysis on 3Dfx and the merger with STB.

Sun,

Do you have an opinion on Lam Research (LRCX). Been beaten up pretty bad.

Mike

Question - as of today (12/31) AMAT has a P/E of about 68, and LLTC has a P/E of about 38. Aren't these kind of high for semi related companies? Granted, I hold CSCO (P/E of 100), but CSCO seems to just keep growing like a weed. Question, what kind of price targets do you have in mind for the stocks you mentioned?

P.S. that Dallas Semi is interesting - P/E of 20, mkt cap 1.1 bil - hmmm, gonna have to check that one out.

P.P.S. how about that TDFX. NOT! At least I got to meet some sharp people by following the thread. Sure am glad I dumped that turkey. Just sorry I didn't get out sooner.

Regards,
Frank Sheridan.
