I did some net shopping. The convenience was nice but some items I ordered have not shown as of yet. Most were ordered in early December.

Well Glenn, it would seem that might be a tad disappointing. I'm sure the recipients of the gifts will still appreciate them when they finally arrive to you via UPS or US Postal or whatever, but it frankly is not going to be the same as giving them at "the time" when everyone opens their gifts.

I safely carried home the gifts I purchased from the store, to repose in my bedroom until such time (last minute) as I wrap them. I would be positively disgusted if I had ordered something in early December and the items had not arrived by the 24th. I would probably never order anything from that site again.

Did all my shopping on the net....not quite.....

Borders.com gift certs. were a little slow in arriving, but came a few days ahead of xmas.

Reel.com ordered 5 movies got 4; no idea when the other might arrive.

Egghead.com ordered 4 pieces of software; one arrived, but the other three have yet to be released. E-mailed egghead three times got a "canned" reply saying they will reply in 2 working days. That was over 14 days ago.

Disney.com shipped duplicates of a $50 item and of course charged on my Visa. They claim on a 1-800 number that they'll get back to me in two business days. We'll see.

Bought $500 worth of crystal for my wife from a small dealer. He came through no problem.

I made three other trips to the store. One was mid-November in Ginza, Tokyo. What a mad house. Actually, I'll probably do it again next year, if the Disney, Reelcom, and Eggheads work out.

Season's Greeting!

Glenn,

I'm always net shopping. I bought so much from Amazon this year that they sent me a Christmas present. The next thing they need to come out with, if they have not done so already, is electronic gift certificates that we can send as gifts via email.

Darrin
