Recent US Embassy bombing were driven by the same type of people

Haim,

And just what kind of people were driven to attack, without warning or provocation, a US spyship, USS Liberty, in international waters, resulting in the loss of 34 seaman's lives??

Terrorism takes many forms, strategies, and names. Those who were express concern for "innocent civilians" are often the same type of people who advocate fire-bombings of heavily populated cities (Dresden, Tokyo).

War is a dirty business in whatever shape that it occurs. The only sure outcome of war is death on all sides, with the winners highlighting the loser's brutality, while masking the brutality of there own forces.

And given that the Palestinians have born the brunt of manipulation by EVERYONE of their neighbors in the Mid-East, it is easy to see why they want their own state. And given that both Israel and the Palestinians have lain claim to the same territory, it will result in a "might makes right" ending. And the winners will write the history books just like the US/British did in WWII.

So in case your scenario comes to pass, I have to ask you.... which nation in the Mid-East already possesses Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical weapons??

In any war this capability may prove the ultimate trump card that prevents an outside aggression against Israel. So the only other alternative is a protracted guerilla war wherein any element of society is a fair target. After all, without the civilian population to provide the moral and physical means of defense for Israel, the country would fall.

I don't envy the Israelis. But then again, I don't envy the Palestinians either. I think everyone has to admit that the Palestinians have been poorly served by their leaders and "allies".
But maybe the same can be said for the Israelis as well.

Btw, I am neither an Israeli/Palestinian advocate or detractor. I prefer to analyze the situation from a more objective approach.

Hope this doesn't offend you. I'm merely stating that for every side of an argument or dispute, there is often a equally valid couter-argument.

Regards,

Ron
