Ron, ##OT### first of all there is not such a think as a Palestinian entity it was invented by the Brits for their own political use. The issue arised at the time that the Brits wanted to compensate the Trans-Jordan population by bringing on them the Hashemite Family to rule into what is now Jordan. Over 60% of Jordan population call themself Palestinians (wrongly of course)they are nomads settling into trans-Jordan. the whole Arab peninsula is one nation populated by nomad tribes between Iran and Egypt. As to the Arab population on the Israeli teritories they are mostly the second or third generation of outcasts from Syria and what is now Iraq(another ill designed idea of the Brits), many of them running away from the law or migrant workers finding work as a result of Jewish population return to their historic homeland. (Jesus or Yeoshua was a revolutionary and very orthodox Jew living on the shores of the Dead Sea) As to your remark to USS Liberty they had no business to be there in the first place, violated international law and the punishment was to soft anyway. To date I feel sorry for those that died and the most sad thing is that those who send them there in the first place got off free. Their action at the time put my life in peril. You can imagine that at age of 20, at the time, I was not exactly sitting at the beach. Leaving Liberty on that spot may have endagered my life and we would not had this discussion. The attack was in self defense even if it sounds strange but it was!!. Sorry to be so harsh. I will not continue to respond to this painfull subject. TIDK Haim
