The morning sky is just blue on one side of the house, and still dark on the other.

I was asking MJ about those dogs. She knows about dogs; I don't.

"They were some mean dogs, weren't they?" I asked.

"I don't know about mean. But certainly aggressive."

Sharon and I said, "No shee-it."

"They looked half or mostly pitbull," MJ said.

No wonder he was "sticking" to the tire and bumper. We had to hit the wheel paths of a bridge on the way back, and without Sharon's focused and skilled driving, could have crashed. That close.

They worry me. They would jump in someone's window, or probably eat a kid on a bike. In Oregon, they have laws requiring chains or confinement. Kids get their faces ripped up. For what? My initial reaction is to want to shoot the owner. The irony for Oregon is discovering we had more definitive laws about dogs that bite sheep. The post office made one of my neighbors move his box across the street, but that dog has injured twice and still lives there. If I remember correctly, one injury was a girl, and the other a UPS driver. The owner is thrilled they let him off with promises. I don't know why they do. I haven't seen the dog outside the fenced area lately, and hope I never do.

People and their damn dogs.

Sorry to bitch, but it pisses me off. Riles.

PS: I like dogs. "People" are another matter.

He ran up from the left..... it's our new liberal perversia canine task force. We do what we have to, the White House is involved in this recent personal attack on a conservative postal employee. We need to fine tune our process of personal destruction...a pitbull next time or maybe Larry Flynt with a bat. He could probably keep up with you down hill.

Cheers from the North
