I could never handle that movie....I don't think I ever watched it all the way through. As for people trying to kill me, it was just because of the area I grew up in, Newark, East Orange.....still not the places anyone would like to spend time growing up. Sad areas. Today though, you get kids killing people in schools in relatively quiet areas. Perhaps the sixties were a better time in many respects. I had a father-in-law who occasionally spoke about the "Golden Years". the 40's, 50's I guess. I used to laugh at the thought of him doing without air conditioning and color television. If you ever see me post again that the 60's may have been a better time, just have me shot, wilya?
