Rande, you have some real writing ability. Your Christmas story was great. I lurk here and "Ask Trader J". I am too much of a newbie to feel I have much to contribute, but I am learning.

I don't know if this is the sort of thing you all stay away from, but i have learned to trust Trader J, so I will take a chance on posting this, as I am in ASCT 3000 @ 3 1/4. There is a buyout rumor, one that Trader J has done his best to substantiate, and he is heavily invested in it as well. It has an extremely low float and there was substantial movement before Christmas on low volume. I think it is worth checking out, as the buyout figure is $10 per share.

If someone would be so kind as to tell me how to send links...I will be happy to pass on the info from the "Trader J" thread

Happy Trading to all,
Vicki

OT to Rande:

Where did you study?

I also take it that Paul is in Nashville? You're still taking privately from him?

The musical contacts I have in Nashville are primarily educator types like Jay Dawson (a one-time roommate) and WC Gore...

The hottest arena right now for scoring is in porn, believe it or not. I suspect that that sort of thing is not at all your cup of tea, however.

There is a great deal of indie activity all across the country right now, too. On the BFLY thread, Filmacher has been talking about his latest project. I imagine that sort of collaboration could give you the track record you need to move ahead.

BTW, what's your instrument? Keyboard?
I'm a, get this, tubist. Not so much an instrument as an excuse to drink beer. : )
