How well do you think the Microsoft witnesses will stand up under intense cross-examination?

I think they will stand up pretty well. My understanding is that most are microsoft executives. They had lots of time to prepare. MSFT probably has an army of lawyers going over their depositions and possible questions they will be facing. Maybe that is why most are executives -- lots of time can be spent on preparing them for cross examination. These executives are pretty smart people and Microsoft has indicated that DOJ is taking comments out of context and somehow linking them. MSFT, IMO, will be doing a lot of clarifying of what DOJ had alleged - as we have witnessed in the media.
A month or two ago Bill Gates seemed confident about this case.

I think they will win -- as believe Judge Jackson is no longer biased in the case. Even if he hates MSFT, he will not act upon his emotions. He will make the right decision -- which I feel will be a win for MSFT (only a small loss in some part of the case may take place). This really means he is not biased as it will not affect his decision.
Overall, MSFT wins, IMHO.

Probably the Microsoft witnesses will stand better than those of DOJ. The witness from SUNW were not even shure that " write once and run everywhere" is a ture statement or not during the cross examination. The witness from APPL did not even know that it is APPL's problem which made the software not compatible with WIN.
What a shame.
