Steve,
I guess I meant by a clean slate that I didn't care more if God existed or didn't exist. I was willing to see it either way.

When someone finds a truth it is not just for them. Truth applies to all, I guess that's what makes it true. An example in physics could be Sir Isaac Newton and his theories about gravity. He calculated the gravity for any mass based on his formulas. He found truth and it applies to all. After he did that it was only a matter of minute fine tuning, he had found the truth. It is not impossible to find the truth about other things as well. Say about the origin of the universe and about man. But many want to keep getting it wrong. We cannot have both evolved and were created so my truth does not work for me and that's OK. What your saying is I'm deluded and that's OK with you as long as I don't hurt anybody. Of course I can't be insulted by that because that's what I've been saying about you and the other evolutionists here. <ggg> There can only be one truth about the origin of man, created or evolved. So if you are correct then explain to me where did this universe come from. How did the substance of the universe come into being from nothing. What set the universe in motion and ordered it's physical laws. Until you can answer those questions conclusively whatever you say about the evolution myth is moot.
