I am a frequent lurker, but don't contribute often. Wanted to share that I read last week that the outlook for Onsale short term is questionable as competition in the online auction field increases. There is concern that the refurb-type equipment they specialize in is becoming harder to come by and that they need to diversify more than they have. Can't remember where I read it, but know that at the time, thought it a respectable source.

The writer felt that further out they still looked strong. I bought Onsale when it was $6.....per share, so am pretty pleased with how it's gone longterm! I was an early customer of the site and an early stock owner and have not been disappointed!

No shakeout buddy, this looks serious, there was absolutely no volume at 61/62.

In any case I see a huge correction happen sometime soon, we've reached insane levels all accross the board. Look at how much we've moved from Oct 2nd week,

YHOO = 105 -> 275, AMZN = 85 -> 350
AOL = 85 -> 315, EBAY = 30 -> 300

not to mention a ton of crappy stocks that have gone from 1-2 bucks to anywhere from 10-40 bucks!!!! ( MZON, GMAI, PCCC, BAMM, etc etc) Just too much speculation.

I believe many investors held on just for the sake of not paying taxes this year on those huge gains, have helped maintain the rally to this point, I bet they will start selling beginning of next year, thats next Monday,

which means traders will take them down in anticipation,,,
that's next 2/3 days

the hype of the great Xmas sale is completely built in
now, its now time to 'Show us the numbers'

I'm sure most will disappoint (relative to the hype)
I know I'm out of ONSL tomorrow.
