BTTT INTERNET PICKS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK!

If you can't beat 'em, then join 'em!

From a pool of about 50 Internet stocks (I used the list of stocks emailed to me by my broker that now require a higher margin premium), and excluding the real crazy issues, i.e. scanning only those that have readable trends, I have come up with the following list of recommendations. I have used the following set of indicators: trendlines, MACD, Stochastics and OBV. They have been grouped accordingly: "A" Trades (all four indicators looking bullish), "B" Trades (3 indicators looking bullish, and one looking neutral) and "C" Trades (3 indicators looking bullish, one looking bearish).

A-Trades:

DCTI
ECHO
SPYG
ELNK
AWRE

B-Trades:

EGGS (MACD looks neutral)

C-Trades:

FLYR (MACD looks bearish)

Please feel free to comment, add to the list, alter my picks, or otherwise ignore this post. I fully realize that any internet picks posted now could come on the eve of their great implosion. But for what it is worth, I thought it best to add a bit of rational technical analysis to all the hype.

Good luck, TC.

Thomas--
How did you guess?! In my case it has worked out well--because of SKYM I am now sitting up 50% for the year, whereas up until last Wednesday I was looking at a loss because of some real blunders earlier in the year. Sorry you missed the fireworks. Happy Holidays, anyway!

TC,

I'm back at the keyboard again. Never really went anywhere, but just didn't get much computin' in during the past several days.

Was happy to see you expanding your TA "toolbox" to include some of my favorites. Namely OBV and RSI. I use Window on Wall Street for my primary charting program. Some time ago I built a template for WOW that I named Befriend the TREND.

It contains price, volume, MAs (I use 34 instead of 40 [fib nos]) along with MACD (Elder's 5/34), 14d Stochastic, 14d RSI and OBV. I still find myself tinkering with this, but I usually get back to this basic configuration.

I enjoyed Elder's book, myself. Ken
