Actually, it was Quantum and WDC drives with which I got OEM
documentation, one from Fry's, one from -- CDW is it? I forget, but
anyhow just across Lawrence in Sunnyvale by the Price Club (or
is it Santa Clara there?).

I live at the other end of the country (local to
Minotaur, in fact), but I travel to silicon valley
from time to time. I always seem to come back toting a bag of
high-tech items ...

Where is NT

Just got back from the newly designated Big Boy. Having to shutdown to switch this monitor from machine to machine is a hassle but it surfaced a shutdown weirdity. I get NT to say its safe to shutdown but when I either press the power switch or use Orbits keyboard route just the monitor goes to sleep but BigBoy keeps on ticking. I finally had to pull the plug. This may be something I will have to ask Jon about.

Entering the BIOS did not turn out to be in my repituare (sp) so I haven't located either OS. But I did get my new mouse software installed ok. Some BIOS info flashes by during startup.

Soooo.......sorry to start out with such a rudimentary question but..... how the %$#@* does one get into BIOS to see what is installed where....
