Thean Great to hear from you. I owned several CEFs focusing on Asia (SAF, APF, APB), made a decent return, then sold out. Your comments confirm my thinking to wait for those markets to wind back down before re-entering. I also think that Asia's recovery will come at the expense of U.S., in that these countries need to export their way back to health and to provide cash to pay their debts. Enjoy your holidays. Mike

Thean, Welcome home! I hope you're not snowed in at some airport somewhere. I just got back Friday from Hilton Head, SC myself. Some greeting, eh? Go off to bask in the Malaysian summer and return to the biggest snowfall in I don't know how long. I think Cinnci was supposed to get nailed even worse than Columbus. I can't remember ever shoveling so much snow after a single snowfall. Anyway, when you get thawed out and start to think about trading again I'd be interested in your take on CPLY; should be right up your alley. You might find some other interesting issues in DougR's MIMBO portfolio @ 206.253.217.14 I'm kind of partial to TACO, CPLY, AKLM, & NOVL, I think. May the new year be happy and especially prosperous for all LTDers everywhere, even those that don't have to deal with snow!....Alski
