Polls validity are in serious question. I don't know many of my
friends who even are willing to respond to pollsters anymore. In
Minnesota, the pollsters didn't quite get Jesse Ventura's win.
As Gov Ventura said: the only poll that counts is the one in the
voting booth. As I seem to recall, Bill Clinton's name wasn't
on any ballot that I voted for. Put his name on the ballot against
some other Democrat, Republican, or Independant and the only vote
he would get is the sympathy vote from those who have been deeply
wounded by his six years of lying. They are victims of the 'Stockholm
syndrom', where the kidnap victim starts to like the kidnapper
only because they block out the crime and see only what they like in
order to cope.
