Nancy, You always nothing if not unfailingly honest in your answers. Thank You. <<.However, a person that resist him continually will not come around for it will be a continued struggle and God knows IMO when there is no more chance for them to ever accept his help.>> For that to be true, one must believe that God can not achieve whatever he desires. Remember, if God desires to teach everyone through love, all he has to do, is desire to do so. If he desires to teach through fear, he has to desire to do that. given that, the question is Why would he ever desire to teach through fear, or to resort to torture(eternal banishment in hell). I have two daughters that are as diferent as night and day. Both are wonderful kids, but they have differnt personalities. I have to use different methods with each to hopefully create an environment that allows them to grow into happy, loving, responsible human beings. If i was God and could achieve anything, and bend the very cosmos to my will, I would choose to teach them through love and would certainly never banish them to an eternal eixistence in hellfire. Under what circumstance would use torture or fear to administer on their eternal souls(especially after death). I can not think of a single circumstance that I would. I would certainly allow them free will to live and learn in this lifetime. However, after this life, how would you deal with the souls of your children? Would you ever use torture or fear? Would ever cast off their souls, regardless of what evil htey had comitted in this lifetime? What if it was a minor evil? what if it was Dr. Martin Luther King who was a reputed adulterer? Or Ghandi, who never accepted Christ? If Ghandi was your child, and you were God, would you condemn him to eternal torture? I know what the bible says, but what benefit would that give? What benefit does eternal torture give, that learning and growing through love wouldn't acomplish to a greater degree? Mark
